Write the legal documents that keep a regulated business moving. You’ll draft contracts, policies and procedures to a high standard, run our documentation and CLM routines, and turn complex rules into clear, auditable texts—working closely with Compliance, Operations, Product and Engineering.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft and refine internal policies, procedures and standards in line with regulatory requirements and company practice; prepare clean versions for counsel review and approval
- Prepare and maintain agreements and legal instruments (NDAs, services, vendors, data‑processing, IP assignments) using approved templates and clause libraries; track variances and approvals
- Summarise complex documents and new regulatory guidance (e.g., DORA, MiFID II, MAR, GDPR) for non‑legal stakeholders
- Build and curate a library of templates, forms and standard clauses; maintain version control and guidance notes
- Conduct targeted legal/regulatory research (KYC/AML, consumer protection, data privacy) and keep a concise evidence log
- Support corporate governance: agendas, packs, minutes and resolutions for Board/committee/shareholder meetings; maintain action logs
- Maintain meticulous corporate records, minute books and entity management registers
- Support management of intellectual‑property assets (e.g., trademarks, patents): filings calendar, renewals, evidence
- Review vendor agreements and NDAs for alignment with policy and legal requirements prior to counsel review; track issues to closure
- Own the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process: intake, approvals, e‑signature, storage, searchability and permissions
- Monitor key contract dates, obligations and renewal points; notify owners early and ensure timely actions
- Assist with internal compliance training materials and documentation for staff
Key tools and practices
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), document comparison and styles discipline
- CLM platforms and e‑signature tools; structured folders/metadata and retention schedules
- Entity management and minute‑taking best practice
- Legal research tools and regulatory monitoring
- Collaboration: YouTrack for work tracking, Confluence for documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law strongly preferred; alternatively, a Master’s in Finance/Business with a significant legal component
- 2+ years’ paralegal/documentation experience with substantive drafting, governance and contract management in a regulated environment (financial services/fintech ideal)
- Working knowledge of key frameworks: DORA, MiFID II, MAR, GDPR (additional payments/consumer‑credit rules a plus)
- Exceptional drafting, editing and proofreading with high attention to detail and plain‑English style
- Proficient with modern legal‑tech tooling (CLM, document automation, e‑signature)
- Excellent organisation and time management; able to manage multiple deadlines with confidentiality and discretion
- Clear written and verbal English and Greek; confident preparing accurate summaries for non‑legal teams
