Lead IT projects in our CORE environment with a focus on Scrum/Kanban. You will plan and deliver software initiatives, partner with architects and senior engineers to turn requirements into secure releases, and keep teams aligned on time, risk and quality—blending deep IT delivery knowledge with structured facilitation.
Job Responsibilities
- Define scope, outcomes and delivery plans for IT projects; manage schedules, milestones and dependencies across squads
- Run Scrum/Kanban ceremonies (stand‑ups, refinement, planning, retrospectives) and maintain the backlog/kanban board
- Allocate and balance technical resources; coordinate with engineering leads, architects and Product/Service Owners
- Track IT budgets and forecasts; report progress, blockers and trade‑offs with clear, actionable data
- Drive risk management and change control; escalate early with options and impact assessment
- Ensure “security first” and compliance requirements are embedded in scope, user stories and definition of done
- Coordinate testing, UAT and cut‑over plans; secure sign‑offs and handover runbooks
- Manage vendors and third parties where relevant; align contracts, SLAs and deliverables to IT roadmaps
- Keep project documentation current (plans, decisions, status reports); host effective reviews and retrospectives
- Promote continuous improvement in IT delivery practices, tooling and cross‑team collaboration
Key Tools and Practices
- Scrum and Kanban; hybrid Agile models
- Jira and Confluence (or similar); Trello where lightweight tracking is suitable
- Budgeting/forecasting and basic reporting dashboards
- Risk registers, change control and governance routines
- Gantt/road‑mapping where appropriate for visibility
- Basic familiarity with CI/CD and SDLC stages
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT project management delivering software/platform initiatives with senior technical teams
- Strong grasp of Scrum/Kanban, hybrid delivery and practical governance; skilled at dependency and risk management
- Proven experience coordinating with architects and senior engineers on complex systems
- Confident budgeting/forecasting and stakeholder reporting; excellent communication in English
- Ability to work on-site in Limassol; hybrid may be possible after probation
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or CSM are a plus
