Build the pipelines that make data useful and reliable. You will collect from varied sources, transform with quality checks and load into BigQuery at scale—partnering with engineers and analysts to deliver trustworthy, cost‑efficient data.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from source systems to BigQuery
• Implement transforms in Python/SQL and with tools such as Talend/Informatica or Dataflow
• Add data quality checks, schema validation and reconciliation to protect accuracy
• Orchestrate jobs, scheduling and dependencies; handle late/changed data safely
• Optimise performance and cost (partitions, clustering, storage lifecycle)
• Monitor pipelines and SLAs with actionable alerts; troubleshoot failures methodically
• Manage metadata, lineage and documentation for auditability and reuse
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Analytics on requirements, contracts and SLAs
• Apply privacy and security controls for PII (access policies, masking, retention)
• Version control all assets, review changes and promote via CI/CD

Key Technologies

• SQL and Python
• Talend/Informatica or Dataflow
• BigQuery and GCP data services
• Orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer or similar)
• Data quality frameworks and testing
• Git, CI/CD and observability for data pipelines

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of ETL/ELT experience in production environments
• Strong SQL and Python; hands‑on with Talend/Informatica or Dataflow
• Experience loading and optimising datasets in BigQuery (partitions/clustering)
• Familiar with orchestration/scheduling, dependency management and retries
• Practical data quality testing and schema control; comfort with Git and reviews
• Understanding of PII handling and access control in a regulated context
• Clear English communication and tidy documentation habits
• Ability to work on‑site in Limassol; hybrid may be possible after probation
• Certifications such as Informatica Certified or Google Professional Data Engineer are a plus
