Help shape regulated services for our Cyprus regulated entity. You will bring rigorous investment judgement to product decisions, define clear policies and controls, and partner with architects and senior engineers so requirements translate into secure, auditable systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Define product governance frameworks (target market, risks, disclosures) in partnership with Legal & Risk
• Develop and maintain methodologies for suitability/appropriateness, best execution and order handling
• Set measurable risk limits and monitoring KPIs; specify dashboards and MI for ongoing oversight
• Lead instrument and market due diligence; maintain approved‑instrument lists and control checks
• Review client‑facing materials for fairness, balance and clarity; ensure evidence is retained
• Work with engineers and data teams to specify data sources, calculations and reconciliation controls
• Validate models and outputs (back‑testing, sensitivity, scenario analysis); document assumptions and decisions
• Support counterparty selection and periodic reviews (brokers, venues, data providers)
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and audit preparation; keep artefacts audit‑ready
• Provide domain leadership to squads; mentor analysts and contribute to training

Key technologies

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (quality checks, audit trails)
• SQL and basic Python for data validation and analysis
• Market/data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg/Refinitiv) and OMS/EMS familiarity
• Dashboarding (Looker Studio/Power BI) and documentation tools
• Collaboration with cloud data stacks (e.g., BigQuery) and version control (Git) is a plus

Qualifications

• CFA charterholder in good standing (active membership with the CFA Institute; verifiable)
• CySEC Advanced Certification, current and in good standing (able to provide certificate/ID)
• 7+ years in investment analysis/markets within a regulated investment‑services environment
• Strong command of MiFID II/MiFIR concepts relevant to product governance, suitability/appropriateness, best execution and conflicts management
• Proven ability to translate business and regulatory needs into precise, testable technical requirements
• Excellent written English and documentation discipline; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
• Ability to work on‑site in Limassol; effective collaboration with engineers, operations and Legal & Risk
