Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2025
1) Summary
quanloop.jobs uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your choices, and measure visit analytics. We use an EU prior‑consent model: non‑essential cookies will not run unless you opt in (ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3), GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can accept, reject, or set preferences by category at any time via “Manage cookie preferences”.
2) Who sets cookies
We set first‑party cookies by quanloop.jobs (e.g., consent state) and third‑party cookies by our service providers (e.g., Google Analytics 4 and, if enabled, Mautic for onsite campaign tracking). Third‑party cookies are blocked until you consent to the relevant category.
3) Your choices and our consent model
Strictly Necessary cookies always operate (they do not require consent). All other categories are off by default in the EEA/UK. You may accept all, reject all non‑essential, or set preferences per category. You can change your mind at any time via “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect prior processing lawfully carried out based on consent.
4) Cookie categories we use
Strictly Necessary (always on): required to make the site work and to record your cookie choices, and do not store personally identifying information.
Preferences (optional): remember your choices (e.g., language, accessibility), and are not currently used but may be enabled for accessibility helpers.
Analytics (optional): help us understand site traffic and performance, and we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) with IP masking and limited retention where analytics load only after consent.
Marketing/Engagement (optional): used if we run on‑site campaign tracking via Mautic (e.g., visit attribution to a newsletter/job‑alert sign‑up), and disabled until you consent.
Examples of cookies (names may change) include GA4 such as ga, _ga and Mautic (if enabled) such as mtc_id, mtc_sid, mautic_device_id.
5) Google Analytics configuration
We require consent first so GA4 loads only after you consent to “Analytics”; we enable data minimisation such as IP masking enabled, no precise location, no User‑ID unless strictly necessary and disclosed, no ad personalisation; we set retention to GA4 event/user retention to 14 months (or lower if practicable) where aggregated reports may persist without identifying data; and you can opt‑out by withdrawing Analytics consent at any time via “Manage cookie preferences”.
6) Mautic website tracking (only if enabled)
If Mautic’s web tracking is enabled on quanloop.jobs, its cookies/pixels will be blocked until you consent to “Marketing/Engagement”. Configuration notes include disable automatic contact tracking until consent, respect browser signals sent by the Consent Management Platform (CMP), avoid linking onsite browsing with identified email contacts unless you have their prior consent, and align with double-opt-in for any integrated job-alerts.
7) Managing your preferences
Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or click “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer at any time. Your current choices are stored in a strictly necessary cookie or in local storage so we can honour them on future visits. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. If you block Strictly Necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. Changes take effect when posted. See the “Last updated” date above.
